Mr Haj has witnessed and suffered countless savage beatings.One in which an Egyptian prisoner was beaten so badly, he suffered 2 fractured spinal vertebrae, leaving him quadriplegic. Mr Haj has also witnessed barbaric force feeding of men on hunger strike. A gastric feeding tube is rammed into the nose and down the throat without anaesthetic, an extremly painful and traumatic procedure, equally so when it is ripped out. You may think this is justifiable considering what these may or may not have done.But I ask you this hasn't the bush regime, in allowing this treatment to continue, sunk lower than Osama bin laden who sends young men to their deaths in the name of justice.
